Hannah Reeves may have played only eight LET Access Series (LETAS) tournaments this season, but she remains firmly in contention to earn one of the seven LET cards for the 2027 season.
The Australian 24-year-old rookie, who turned professional in 2025, sits in 12th position on the LETAS Order of Merit (OOM) following four top 10 finishes; including a victory at July’s Pitch 15 Open in England.
With only four events left on the calendar, Reeves is hoping to pick up more points at this week’s October 14-16 Iberdrola Calatayud Ladies Open in Spain and move inside the top seven in the OOM.
“Yeah, this year’s been really good,” she said. “I think it’s just been a lot of learning. Obviously, it’s my first time playing over here in Europe so I’ve just learned so much every single week in different countries on this Tour.
“I think the most important thing is to be adaptable each week, see what’s different and be ready to play. I didn’t play great last week, but pretty decent in all the others and of course winning in London. It’s just been a huge learning curve this year.”
Last time out at the Terre Blanche Ladies Open, Reeves finished tied-35th with a score of two-over-par. Prior to that, she had finished inside the top 25 in all of her past six events.
The Queensland native finished in solo eighth at July’s Women’s English Open, tied-sixth at September’s Hauts de France Open and tied-10th at the Lavaux Ladies Open.
After winning the Pitch 15 Open, Reeves took some time off back in Australia to work on her game.
She said: “I’ve just been heading home for a couple of weeks in between, checking in with my coach and still training and then coming back and ready to go each week.
“I think my games felt good, for the whole season, so hopefully we can put some good rounds together this week. The levels are really good here. Like, there’s so many great players every week.
“The first time I came over, I was quite nervous and didn’t know what to expect. I think it’s just been each week building on being uncomfortable in new places. And then learning to compete in that as well, I think is a huge learning curve.
“Our season in Australia is quite short, so it’s great to play so many events here at such a high level. It’s really good to compete each week.”
Reeves will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of compatriots Kelsey Bennett and Justice Bosio, who both competed on the LETAS before stepping up onto the LET.
“I’ve grown up playing with some of them,” she added. “It’d be so cool to end up playing on the LET with so many of the girls that we’ve played with in juniors.
“I really want to get on and play on the LET. I played four LET events in Australia and it’s just incredible to play in such great events with such great players.
“There are four events left, still plenty of golf to be played. I’ll just do my best each week and not put too much pressure on myself, play my best each week and see where it ends up.”
Reeves will begin Round 1 of the Iberdrola Calatayud Ladies Open from the 1st tee at 9.35am (local time) alongside Germany’s Lisa Marie Schumacher and France’s Anne-Charlotte Mora.
